Description

Loperamide Diarrhoea Relief Capsules – Pack of 6 (Packaging May Vary)

Loperamide Hydrochloride Diarrhoea Capsules provide relief from the symptoms of diarrhoea by slowing down bowel movements and increasing fluid absorption.

What is Loperamide Hydrochloride?

Loperamide Hydrochloride helps to firm up stools and restore normal bowel movements. The active ingredient, loperamide (2mg), slows down muscle movement in the intestines, easing fluid absorption.

What Causes Diarrhoea?

Diarrhoea is commonly caused by:

Gastroenteritis (bowel infection)
Food allergies
Alcohol
Appendicitis
Medications (check side effects)
Chronic diarrhoea may indicate a more serious condition like IBS.

Side Effects:

Like all medicines, Loperamide can cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them. Common side effects include:

Itchiness or hives
Stomach pain or swelling
Difficulty passing water
Severe constipation
Narrowing of pupils (miosis)
Nausea, constipation, or gas
Headache
Dizziness or drowsiness
Vomiting
Indigestion

If you experience any side effects, consult your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. You can also report side effects through the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
